A home safety assessment is a basic evaluation of your physical home environment to identify safety hazards that can increase your risk of a fall or impede functional performance with self-care tasks. Our skilled medical professional will tailor each home safety assessment to fit your individual needs or the needs of your family member. Our home modification consultant is trained to perform in-person and virtual home safety assessments based on your individual needs, availability and location.
Our Home Safety Assessment process:
Home modifications are adaptations made to the physical environment to support performance with everyday tasks. This assessment is designed to take a deeper look into your medical history, daily routine performance and identify environmental factors within your home that impede or hinder your performance with your selfcare tasks. After the completion of a home modification assessment, our trained occupational therapist will provide a detail report of recommendations for home modifications and durable medical equipment.
